My Goobs
Goober was a German shepard/ rottweiler mix. He was one of 12 in his litter. His mom was a Rottweiler named Snot and his dad was a German Shephard named Earl. They were very good dogs. We already had a black lab at home named DOG but we thought he needed a companion. So when we brought him home we were trying to think of a name for him my daughter also took one of the pups and she was naming hers Loogy just to kinda keep it in the family cuz of his mom. So my daughter thought of Goober and I said yes thats perfect. Goober was my dog very loyal and was my shadow for five years. I loved that dog so much and I was very upset when I had to put him down on December 1, 2015. He ended up having a tumor on his kidney that ruptured so unexpectedly. I loved Goober so much he has been deeply missed already. |

Naming our Dog Kona
We named our dog Kona because a tiki in Hawaii looked like our soon to be new puppy. We did some more research on the name and then found out it was Hawaiian. Since she looked like a Hawaiian tiki we named her Kona. |

Kivo Von McClintock- My Akita, Alaskan Husky, and German Shepherd Mix Best Friend
Kivo Von McClintock, or "Kivo" is an original name I selected for my very unique, and surprise breed, born just before my birthday. His Mom "Miss Miss" is an AKC German Shepherd who belongs to my sister. She accidentally became pregnant by our neighbors dog, who is was a mix of two AKC registered dogs - an AKC Akita and AKC Alaskan Husky. The father, "Sir Kai Rayne",jumped HIS fence and OUR fence to be with "Miss Miss" while she was in heat. We were all surprised by "Kai" & "Miss Miss", who loved to be together. He visited daily after "Miss Miss" became pregnant. The puppies were born in my house right before my birthday in January of 2012. They were all so beautiful - ranging from blue to green eyes, grey, black, white, and even an albino mix with pink eyes! I selected Kivo, who was the only blonde and white puppy with green eyes. He was quite unique from the very first day! I have a very unique name myself, which is Kerstgen-Kelly. I was named after both of my Great Grandfathers, who were Scottish and Norweigen. It means "Christian" in English translation. I wanted my dog to have an original name too. But keeping it simple, I arrived at "Kivo", and also used my maiden name, which became "Kivo Von McClintock". "Kivo" has a sweet face, with a pink and grey nose and mouth, bright green eyes, and the trademark fancy, curled tail of his Akita/Husky father. Kivo is a regal and elegant dog in his stance and presence. He is super intelligent, very vocal with a playful and loving disposition. "Kivo" fit his personality and physical presence perfectly! He is a unique mix and a wonderful furbaby addition to our family. He is my best friend and loyal companion in life. |

Tiki is a wonderful puppy name
My dog Tiki was bought from a rescue site as a puppy, she is now 3 years old. The rescue home gave her the name 'Tiki' and I thought it was a unique and special name, so I kept it. I am still not entirely sure how to pronounce it... but I say it like this 'Teekee' but some people say this 'tickee' |

Well, I have always wanted a dog now I am getting a dog, and he is going to be a Artine Mastiff I might name him Rosco or Dakota, and that is how those names got here. |
