Petchu		How Petchu got his name I had a dog named Ellie, who I called, "Come,pet you!" I told everyone that I would name my next dog, Petchu, because I never used her name when I told her to come. I did just that. I have a small tri-colored collie named Petchu now.

Token		Token is always ready to give a token of gratitude. She's petite and delightful and always ready to give a token of her love (we rescued Token from a shelter).
Ladybug		My little Lady-bug Ladybug was originally to be named Lady. She was a Bernese Mt so we actually intended to officially name her Lady Bernese. The first three days we had her, both my husband and I repeatedly called her "my little Lady-bug" without even realizing it. The first time I heard him say it... I said, wait, I have been calling her that for three days, So we decided to name her Ladybug Bernese. She was such a gift to us and her name fit her perfectly. She also was called bug (in an endearing way) regularly.
Groot		Groot My family really likes The Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Thought it would be cute to name our new puppy after Groot. His name tag says "I am Groot"
Shasta		Shasta our female princess Shasta is a long haired chihuahua/Shitzu mix. She is our familys pride and joy. She was rescued and adopted into our family on her 1st birthday. She is frisky, sassy, smart and incredibly loving. Her name was given to her before we adopted her. But we feel it suits her well.
