Recently Added dog Names

June of this year I was presented to a small yellow fur ball. I was told she was a husky/German shepherd mix. Well she looked more like miniature yellow chow chow. Her sibs either looked like husky or like german shepherd. On top of that she was smaller and timid, unlike her robust and boisterous sibs. I was like okay it well be easy to handle. Well on the first day home she was quite and she was mindful. Until my nephew brought me this rotti that was younger than her but was taller and bit rounder. I was scarred for her but she said 'no ma'am I got this.' This rotti thought he could tackle her and pin her down. He tried but she got the best of him every time. I was shocked and so was the rotti. Ha! This odd looking fur ball got spunk. At that moment that odd looking fur ball was named Nahla. Btw she is now 8 months and now looks like polar bear/dog but she still has that spunk. That's my Nahla!❤❤❤

When my German Shepard was a puppy, she was somewhat clumsy with big feet and long legs. The name seemed to fit her because she reminded me of a moose.

It is a really cute name for small dogs, kind of like a joke.

More than 30 years ago, during my first overseas assignment in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a friend of mine gave me a black Labrador/ Dalmatian mixed breed whom he had earlier named "Reckless." He destroyed lots of things, from my housemates' blue jeans to my Audi 100's seat belt to the bars of his cage.

I was relatively new to dog raising and did not realize that such destructive acts were the result of boredom and lack of exercise.

When he died prematurely (apparently a victim of poisoning connected to a home invasion attempt), I cried the whole night.
